Mr. President, with all due respect — we need to stop spending so much on the military, globalization and wars…Just for once, can’t we just focus on home first?….

The definition of insanity is the repetitive act and or nature of doing the exact same thing repeatedly — and expecting a “different” outcome….Like saying the “election was stolen” repeatedly — and expecting congress to say “yes it was”. That kind of insanity.

What I feel our government is supporting

International (foreign) politics and policy

It seems that both every presidency and governmental administration is and has always been “preoccupied” with either self interest and wellness of the wealthy — and our international / global / partners and allies.

  • Foreign wars
  • Globalization
  • Technology
  • Bailouts-(Wall Street, not Main Street)
  • Military spending
  • Climate change-(for now)
  • Excessive spending on all of the above

This occupation and preoccupation for wars and conflicts (for global control and dominance) by congress and even by the president is still, yet — another pressing sign that our country cares more about “image” (political correctness) than actually doing something to solve our past and present / ever-mounting social, economic and physical ills.

The real irony is that while we-(as a democracy) are so busy railing against the religious and political ideology of other nations-(islam, buddhism, communism and socialism) — those governments don't work either. And, that is because of the same problem they have is what we have — the wrong leadership and representation is in place.

Our nation's leaders globally think more about power, greed, dominance, inequality, leverage, waste and destruction. Than that about environmentalism, humanitarianism, altruism, peace and equality. And for the billions on the planet; that should, and is troubling.

The fact and irony is that the entire planet is based upon the critical and noncritical thinking of just a handful or people…Say about 10 to 15 million or so. People in either corporate, political and or bureaucratic / positions of power that greatly affect and or impact the planet on varying levels.

From a solely US standpoint; when we examine the political and bureaucratic realm of that hierarchy of power, control and dominance. We need only to start at the bottom; and work our way up.

From townships, cities, counties and states. Starting with town / city / Aldermans / city council members, city managers, police, fire / rescue, judges, lawyers, prosecutors, mayors and governors. State assembly representatives, county and state legislators. Anyone and everyone in political or bureaucratic seats of authoritarian power — has the means of contributing towards the growing problem in our country…Which is “corruption”.

Corruption that begats the greater and continuing ills of this nation. Corruption that allows nepotism, greed, bias, illegal, immoral and illicit undertakings to occur and continue.

A perpetual / never-ending cycle of corruption that eventually and systemically

The direction we should be going in:

  • Poverty / hunger, homelessness and unemployment-(reduce, then eliminate entirely).
  • Student debt
  • Public safety
  • Mass evictions
  • Illegally held detainees
  • Asylum seekers / immigration
  • Healthcare
  • Big Pharma
  • Inflation-reduction

We should be addressing these (aforementioned) and other long overdue problems, situations, challenges and circumstances — including racism, racial inequality, wealth inequality, discrimination, corruption, nepotism, missing and exploited children and drugs in this country.

All decades old problems that seem to never go away or reduce in intensity, severity or frequency. This is due in part to the focus and attention-(of both past and present / political agendas set by both past and present / presidents’ and congresses). Agendas that focus on:

  • Funding wars
  • Spying / espionage
  • Destabilizing nations by fostering political unrest
  • Racial, social, religious and political divisiveness
  • Oppression, suppression and marginalization
  • Nepotism, corruption, waste, fraud, etc..
  • Greed, power and control for asserting privilege and dominance

What our government supports

  • Partisan political agendas
  • Bailing out Wall Street: Ignoring / forsaking Main Street
  • War and conflicts

Humanitarian efforts-overseas / abroad

Humanitarian efforts globally also seem to be our international obsession for global dominance is both a political and corporate distraction for both politicians and ceos’. Either for exploiting a country’s natural resources: Or to gain some type of corporate or military / strategic advantage over supposed or imaginary / global / rivals, competitors, threats and or enemies.

For capitalists exploiting third world countries while looking good-(appearance), through philanthropy, or introducing a new factory overseas to gain market share, leverage and or power. Or, when it comes to our government, brokering talks and negotiations to just to plain old spy and or sabotage to ensure that other countries are not getting the upper-hand on us.

Now, from a military / defense and peacekeeping perspective — that looks and sounds nice. And, from a “humanitarian” perspective (global do gooding) that also looks good. However, it seems that both “government and private sectors” sometimes working either in concert / collusion and or independently of one another within these underserved countries and the “problems” still persists….The reason-(my theory) is that our government and private sectors aren’t doing humanitarian work: It’s something else.

There is an organizational agency known as USAID: Which stands for United States Agency for International Development-(USAID) along with countless other private / US and foreign organizations and state-(foreign) agencies that are “doing business” in third world countries. Pouring billions into programs and services for decades — with little progress.

The funny thing is, I’ve never-(if so, please share it) where the US government, or any private sector groups-(non profit, or otherwise) from the US make a significant contribution, donation, nor “investment” that put money into direct projects such as farms, factories, etc., where jobs-(high paying) or otherwise that actually helped these countries and their poor achieve any real self-reliance. Why is that? It’s because-(speculation / theory) our government is not really trying to help these nations…
Just give the appearance of aid / help. While doing something clandestine somewhere else. Or, just to improve international relations.

So, what about America? What about the millions that languish in poverty and despair? Where is their / our rescue? What about spending trillions at home for a change, instead of abroad? The answer: Both government and the private sector lack the will-(political and or corporate incentive) to do so…

War is BIG business….

Building and selling weapons is the stock and trade of the industrial military complex. From munitions to sea and air vessels and ships — to spy satellites. soldiers to drones. Defense contractors employ some 2 million people nationwide: Which also translates into a huge voting block of Americans-(middle-class). A constituency that politicians are far too afraid to ignore.

Coupled with the aspect and fact that many blue collar workers in the defense industry — (as well as white collar) love working, spending and living the “American dream.” At the simultaneous cost to those who cannot. Blue collar workers once controlled (through unions) and dominated the workforce landscape in the late 60’s to early 70’s. Back then, technology-(and the burst of capitalism) changed all that. Believe it or not — so did racism-(exporting jobs to prevent many black and browns from achieving middle-income status). A covert and overt racial tactic that also snared many poor whites wanting to work as well.

The War On Drugs

Much like the crack cocaine epidemic in the 80’s and 90’s that sent many black and brown / low and mid-level street dealers to prison. The War On Drugs in my opinion, was just another ploy to avert spending money in poor / black, brown and white communities — by creating situations and conditions-(wars, national and global emergencies and crisis) in which congress could spend the money on these agendas and issues — as opposed to spending on American communities and on “people” (the poor) that needed it the most.

That war-(on drugs) also had a significant impact (disproportionately) upon the American population in regards to race: (1) Mostly all drug house were “conveniently located within poor areas. (2) More specifically, the black and brown communities first. Then the poor white to struggling middle-class communities followed. (3) Most surveillance, raids and arrests were made within black and brown communities-(urban / rural areas).

Punishment by law-(for drug offenses) also ran “disproportionate” when criminals were prosecuted for illegal / drug, sale & use. Black suspects when convicted were more likely and often given longer, stronger, stiffer and more severe time when sentenced as opposed to their white counterparts. As the old saying goes: “Black folks don’t won no planes, submarines or large ships to bring that stuff in by the tons.” Lamar Mickens….

Yet, more than 3 decades later — the War On Drugs is still ongoing. And our involvement and participation did nothing: The drugs are still flowing just as heavy — -now as they did then: And the reasons why?

It was-(the War On Drugs) and still is — a political / social / ruse for politicians to get re-elected. And an economic windfall for private contractors to get wealthy, if not wealthier. From military to civilian / high tech companies providing the gear, equipment, machinery, supplies and other products that make the contractors richer-(corporate welfare). While ensuring that hundreds of thousands of workers in those fields and industries stay employed and middle-class. Again, with nothing for the poor.

Getting back to the dismantling of the American economy at the hands of certain / corrupt politicians and corporate capitalists. A select few within this sector of these capitalists coupled with certain / corrupt / unscrupulous politicians engaged in political and corporate corruption and nepotism-(on an emerging then — now, global scale) many-(we call greedy capitalists) yearned for higher / faster / yields and profits. No matter how they achieved this goal. Which often came at the expense of both minorities and the poor. And, what better way than-(then & now) through military procurement-(spending)!

Every aspect (now) of military defense spending totals-nearing into the trillions of dollars…While America’s poorest people and their communities in which they struggle to work, worship, play and even dwell — still go unassisted. And government’s excuse each and every time when it comes time to assist the poor and their communities is always the same: We (America) have to always provide some sort of solution to another country’s or continent’s problem Whether its providing “humanitarian aid” for our global partners: Or, heading or assisting in a natural disaster, or addressing climate change, clean energy, etc..

over the last two decades — -America has committed around $6.4 trillion dollars both directly and indirectly to war-(peacekeeping, war, security, military care).

Included, is the other related costs for both military expansion-(more than 700 global military bases) and what it costs to keep them up and running. Then there’s “border security.” What I call the “war at home.” Something (extreme commitment to border security) that is not needed as so many have touted: But, has now grown exponentially in expenditures.

Growing and ongoing conflicts in both Eastern Europe and the middle-east

Now, we have two new / wars: Ukraine and Israel: combined, both total $175 billion and are expected to rise ross the span of the next four years and beyond. For America, these two wars represent a stark reality of what this country is, says and actually does-(or, doesn’t).

So, as you can see Mr. President, before you lies two paths: One that concentrates on America — and the American people: And, the other which puts you on the same path and course of assured perpetual destruction. One, that is going to cost in the end — probably tens of thousands of American lives. And trillions of dollars of unnecessary financial resources — that could be applied directly to the American people at home — over the next decade.

The other-(choice) on the other hand will save millions of lives here at home. While applying trillions of dollars in resources to build-(not rebuild) a stronger, safer, America — for those that are less fortunate and can be placed upon the path of self sufficiency.

Resources that also create a return in the form of: 100% percent return of taxpayers monies over a 30 or 40 year period: Zero unemployment, new tax dollars, new consumer spending-(that will make the capitalists happier), expanded infrastructure, new / higher / national wages — to offset-(if not defeat wage insecurity and inflation). Inflation — through nonprofits owning and controlling and substantial majority of businesses within America. Lowering the costs of goods, products and services. And communities on both urban and rural fronts being transformed on massive scale.

Doing the right thing — (domestically helping black, brown and poor white Americans) is something that’s been “avoided” by every American president since Washington.

You are the first president, President Biden that can, could and should make that choice. We are asking you to consider funding a $6.5 trillion dollar-(it was $2.6 trillion) 10 year program that would invest around $130 billion into each of the 50 states. Specifically targeting our poorest urban and rural communities. This injection however comes at a price: (1) Reduce our military bases globally by half-(shut 375 of them down for a decade). (2) Reduce military / DOD / budget by $400 billion dollars for the next 10 years. (3) Find, reduce and or eliminate many federal agencies-(such as the USAID, SBA, DHS, DEA, ATF and others) departmental agencies — and portions of their budgets attached to them.

A war (domestic) on poverty

  • Unemployment
  • Mass evictions
  • Homelessness
  • Hunger
  • Childcare
  • Illness and illiteracy
  • Wage insecurity
  • Public safety-(in part)

Funding large / scale / transformative / projects, programs and services —in the form of capital improvement, public works, economic development / redevelopment projects is what we are proposing for a domestic War On Poverty. A war that doesn’t require tanks, missiles, aircraft carriers, soldiers, nor traveling halfway across the world: Simply, right out of all our front doors.

A war where America’s poorest people and communities are reclaimed through scores of community investment projects, program grants for small / medium businesses; acquisitions, expansions, merges, privatizing, etc..

The program is called the “Solution Based Strategy & Fast Track Program” (SBS / FTP). Intended to replace the current / federal government’s Community Project Funding-(CPF) request program. Including certain / other / federal / departments / agencies and organizations — with projects, programs and services that are outdated, outmoded, redundant, etc.. Lessening future / federal burdens and constraints — while easing taxpayers’ spending. The goal is to ultimately reduce our local / city, state and federal deficits.

Or, you can take the easy, political road and stay “engaged” in global conflict. If you chose the first-(helping America) I guarantee you — that those other / two conflicts will soon extinguish themselves out over time. By stop funding both Israel and the Ukraine-(NATO will step in for that) these nations’ appetite of war, genocide and destruction — will soon come to an end. And, just to be clear — Ukraine did not start a “war” with Russia: That’s all on Putin!!! If, these countries have no money to run their armies; then these nations they will soon have to surrender-(either side).

In the meantime, I hope you will reach out to me by email, our office / home / address, DM letter, or our current US / Mo. Representatives — Senator Josh Hawley and Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II. They have our number and address on file. In closing all that read this — -I invite you to comment, rt / share and follow me here and on other (like FB) social media sites.
